Welcome to Seaforth Public School

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website in 2024.

Our school is situated on Sydney's Northern Beaches on the Southern end of the Peninsula in a leafy, vibrant suburb.

We are located on two campuses, Kempbridge Avenue and Yatama Street. This allows us to have spacious grounds where there is plenty of room for students to play and gives us the feeling of a small community school. Our 430 (approx.) students meet on one campus for assemblies and special events.

The school has a dedicated team of teachers and an active and supportive P&C. There is a warm, friendly, welcoming atmosphere when you come to Seaforth Public School.

Our teachers are highly qualified and committed to quality education and undertake regular professional learning. Our school is a PBL School - Positive Behaviour for Learning. Our school values are for our community to be SAFE, RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, and RESILIENT.  They are explicitly taught and a common language is used throughout the school to provide a caring, safe and happy environment for all members of the school.

Seaforth Public School offers a range of extra-curricular activities to our students including band, dance, choir, a variety of sports (summer and winter), public speaking and debating.

We have a range of technology in the school including iPads, laptops and IWBs. Our teachers are highly skilled in the use of technology and incorporating it into their teaching and learning programs to engage students and enhance learning opportunities.

We run a unique Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program throughout the school that our students love. Both our garden and our kitchen are wonderful places where the students are engaged, learning and happy.

Our school is part of the Northern Beaches Learning Alliance Community of Schools, and as such, benefits from the collegiality between our local schools.

Please do not hesitate to join us for one of our school tours in 2024, commencing in the second half of Term 2. The dates will be published in the calendar on this website.

Finally, our students are the shining stars of our school and we are very proud of them all. They are our driving force for all we do at Seaforth.
