Welcome to the Seaforth Public School Canteen

Our canteen is an integral part of school life at Seaforth Public School.  Our friendly, full-time, Canteen Manager Karen, and her staff, produce delicious, fresh, healthy food for your children every day.

We follow the government guidelines for the Healthy Canteen Policy therefore we provide a healthy menu for the children which includes a variety of hot and cold food and snack items. The majority of our food is homemade on site, from the Anzac biscuits, bliss balls, vanilla cookies, muffins, banana bread and pikelets to the bolognaise sauce, butter chicken and mac & cheese. We include as many fresh vegetables as possible, use wholemeal flour and keep added sugar to a minimum.

We take food allergies very seriously and provide a range of gluten free items including gluten free bread, wraps, pikelets and muffins. Allergy alerts for egg, dairy, nuts and gluten can be selected on the menu in order to inform the canteen of all allergies. If your child has any special food requirements please don't hesitate to come and discuss with us.

Order from our canteen

If you wish to order your child food for morning break and/or afternoon break you need to order online through our service provider Flexischools at www.flexischools.com.au.  You will need to register for an account. It’s simple and only takes a few minutes to set up and then you are ready to order.

Orders can be placed up until:

• 8:30am on the day of the order for morning break
• 11.30am on the day of the order for afternoon break.

You can also place orders in advance for the week.

In addition to the standard menu, the canteen offers daily specials throughout the week including dumplings, nachos, mac & cheese , pizza and bolognese. Sushi Day is every Wednesday – please note though that all sushi orders must be submitted by 8pm on a Tuesday.
