Debating and public speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking.
Students participate in a range of in-class public speaking activities and challenges during the year.
Our students in Years 3-6 also particpate in the Bear Pit Public Speaking Competition. Our finalists compete in the annual final held at Parliament House and hosted by James Griffin MP.
Students in Years 5-6 have the opportunity to join the Seaforth Debating Team. Our debaters compete against local schools in the Premier's Debating Challenge.
